Indeed. I have a bunch of H7's here at my house but i think they are a different H11 type with the harness... im gonna have to find one around town here prolly. Yesterday i had attempted to pop off the cover but it was so tight i only managed to make it turn to the left slightly it wouldnt turn no more. It prolly pops off after that i gotta go back and try again it was getting windy out and i just wanted to get home.

Also planning to bring some plastic polish or rubbing compound with me. My headlight covers are a bit on the faded side and the lights are hard to see at night. Gonna see if i can shine/clean those up a bit.

I felt like that after the first couple of day's actually lol. Once i learned the routine and realized how smooth going it is i knew this was for me and felt like i was there a while.

Sounds like a great week. Im looking to get into the same kinda routine soon. And yea i feel the same all the bad stuff the driver mills give drivers is completly gone here. Priority is just keep busy during the week and get us home weekends. Knowing that off hand takes alot of pressure off and keeps the focus on the driving and safety. Makes things really smooth and easy.

I'd like to give 1-2 weeks notice with my present employer since I don't want to leave him in a lurch and without a replacement set-up to take over. I would think/hope that Calex will be ok with that.

Thanks guys! I can't wait to come on board!

Indeed i hear ya. I doubt theyd have a problem with it at all. I myself was actually asked what my shcedule was gonna be after i got approved and when i could start. I so happened to not be driving for about 3 months so it was my choice to start right away. So yea they should definitly be cool with it.

wow i never heard of toothpaste being used....but its no biggie at home i actually have many grades of heavy duty 3m polishing compound and i even have a bottle of plastic polish. Im no stranger when it comes to detailing and bodywork/custom paint. It what i did on the side for many many years when off or not trucking the past few months. So i should be able to get em nice and clean.

3M now has a specific polish ( restoration kit ) for the headlight lenses , works great and faster than the other polishing compounds.

let me know if you get the cap off to access the bulb. I have a bulb going bad, and I also tried to get the cap off. I got about a 1/4 turn out of it and that was it. I was going to wait till I got to the shop and have them do it.
