They know who it is. Wondering why they won't release his identity?
-
They do not know who it is, that is the problem. The brother saw her walking, by what appeared to be of her own free will, into the woods - at first - but then she began to struggle. From what TBI has said, he ran out while calling 911, but too late, she was gone. Blood was found around the carport as well as some of her other belongings were found in the woods.
Still no sign of her, the abductor, or anything else - but she is still missing.
A $75,000 reward is being offered. -
I have a feeling they are looking at her brother. One of the news stories I heard last night was that the authorities have not ruled out anyone, including family members.
You have to admit, his story just doesn't wash. If you've got an abductor dragging or carrying a resisting victim and you - the brother - are unimpeded, there's no way they are simply going to disappear on you. And I don't buy the theory that there was some underground bunker nearby that the kidnapper used or is using.
Whatever the case, the whole this is just sad. Prayers for the family. -

See that is just it, she walked away like she was walking with a friend until they were in the woods. If you know anything about this area, once you get 2 or 3 ft into the woods you are out of the line of vision, it is so thick.
Decatur is a small county and Parsons is a very small town, everyone is family. They grew up together, go to church together, play ball together...This is about crippling this town emotionally. -
I don't disagree with that at all. The whole thing has to be heartbreaking. At the risk of saying anything wrong, I will say no more about it. Again, prayers for the family and all involved.
