Ya, you can run up loaded then. Indy is a decent terminal. You can park way in back and it's nice and quiet.:biggrin_25525:

ya the guy I run for now is cool. I'm going to get a load up to indy so I don't have to pay the fuel out of my pocket. I'm kinda gun shy about canceling my lease before they approve all my stuff

Had a decent run from LA to Albany Or, my truck has had a vibration that was not very bad since I was assigned the truck and on the way to Or the slight vibration became a rather strong one. When I dropped my trailer it became very clear what the vibration was, one of the u-joints had decided it had done all it was going to do and began to decentigraite, and the drive line was preparing to launch to where ever. So now I am sitting in Coberg Or at the TA waiting for parts to make the repairs o I can be on my way... :)

I could be wrong, but I think all it is basically a DoT annual, I didn't have my own truck, I just seem to remember an O/O tell me that.

HP, wait until the driveshaft pulls right out of your front drive. It's a weird feeling when you swear you're slowing down, but the tach and speedo are showing a steady speed. That happened to me twenty miles from the terminal and a week of hometime. Once I saw what happened, I limped it the rest of the way with the power divider thrown in.:biggrin_2559:

it is a dot but i have some things that are questionable. i run tge nw to midwest all winter. all thay WY sand usually means new windshields every spring. both are cracked slthough not in my line of sight, that could go either way depending on the inspector. im too broke to replace them.

also last month i parked in MT, whike i was inside the wind started my truck sliding across the icy parking lot. it crashed into a concrete wall messing up my bumper, fender andheadlight. as i mentioned i dont have $1000 to pay the insurance deductable to repair it. im on my way home now to do the fiberglass work on the fender and hopefully i can get the headlight vack in and secure

i made money hand over fist last year but since cgristmass ive not made a thing and have had to dump money into tge trk and trl.

I have actually heard that the food at the Indy OC is one of the better cafeterias, but I do not personally remember eating there.

MM, I can see why you may be worried, but if it would pass a DoT, you should be good to go. I've seen some really ratty trucks dragging orange trailers. Do you have a plan in case you don't pass?
