    Drivers lounges and truck stops are full of guys with the attitude of this OP. The OP has done something that has led to this point and his option's yet all he had time to do is put down Swift. If no one else will hire him I wonder what he has done. He ought to be glad at least Swift is willing to give him another shot. Typical entitlement attitude here, no one deserves a job with a better carrier it is earned and this OP has not earned it obviuosly.

    Why would they be choosy? An "experienced" driver would expect a "real" paycheck... God forbid that would happen LOL

    Yes I will shoot you. With honor. I would go back to SWIFT in a min. They gave me my start 1991. Left cause i was green. They turn down more freight than my co. hauls.

    I guess .25 a mile and all you can haul is better than .36 a mile while sitting for days, contribution to an oil spot at an old Knox Super Red Diesel truckstop that hasn't had electricity in years.

    Sorry for not paying attention to this thread. Did not think anyone would reply. It's Swift. I am not one to say things that are not true or have not went through. I worked for Swift. When I joined just out of school they lied to me. They said I would be home after 2 weeks with trainer who was a little racist. . I spent the weekend in VA. while he was home with his family. Very upsetting for daughter. I went out with a trainee for the other 2 weeks nice guy. The next trainee did not like me because I am Irish and where he is from the Irish police beet him up at times. That don't have any thing to do with me. When we stopped at the truck stop he would disappear I had to go look for him. I called the DM and he did nothing about it. I have not drove OTR since 03 so I need to go back to school and Swift will take me now but need better money. So I am still looking and Schneider is who I am looking at now. 1 week orientation and 1 week with trainer then I get my truck. Thank you everyone for the funny replies.
