6NZ idle... am I asking too much?

    Is it really that hard to get a 6NZ to drop to a smooth idle and stay that way, also not have any vibration at higher speeds?

    Mine will consistently drop to a rough idle at first then smooth out in a few minutes with the Cat injector codes, when I had 5232 in the ECM it idled the smoothest I've ever seen it but my EGTs were getting too high way too easily and I switched back.

    just a thought based on what you said above, maybe you have low fuel pump pressure at idle, or the injectors need cleaning.
