I've had pickup trucks pull me when I got stuck, one on solid ice, when my chains didn't help...Never pushed though...Heck, he could have dropped trailer and tried to move then hit the pin at an angle in a place with better traction...This guy did not exhaust his options, especially the chaining one LOL

 

I've seen it done. In fact, although conditions were better, I had a county mountie push me 100' into a fuel island when I had a fuel issue. He used a Chevy Blazer. I was 105,500# with a set of hopper bottoms.

 

This gave me a kick. I mean, I've done something stupid like that before and cussed my self out but atleast I did it quietly where no one could hear me. Only for like 5 minutes though then I figured my problem out. And at 0:22 where he almost slips

 

My buddy had a NYS bear push his truck out of an intersetion with a crown vic when it shut down. now it was a clear dry road but still had to be funny as hell to see

 

Thats why I carry a couple containers of sand in the truck.
