For some reason our camera isn't taking close ups very well -
Not the greatest pics with my military grade phone but you get the idea. I prefer the cb dash mounted for easy access and the AC vent directly under should help with cooling if necessary this summer. Hiding wires is not as much a priority as ease of use.
As you can see the speaker is mounted above me to the right and angled down for best sound and I can leave the volume fairly low and still hear quite well and the RK56 on the gear keeper right next to it.Attached Files:

How do you like the 45MP ? I have always heard VERY favorable things about them . The only complaint I would have about your set up is ....it looks like your sun visors are blocked . I have had to reach up there and yank my visors down when I get blinded sometimes . BUT, other than that ...LOOKS NICE and I like those Cobra speakers pretty well too !
DJ4wd Thanks this. -

I like it very much, I dont have any problems with the visors, they come in and out fine. All though I never ever use them thanks to the external visor.
-
Good deal ! Yeah I didn't know that you had the external visors ...that is a very good way to go. I never had a truck with those , they look nice

Chuck H,
Those STRYKERS are cool radios too . Some folks don't like the receive but, I am very pleased with mine ! It doesn't have as much ground noise & static as my OLD CONNEX .
