Why do we keep letting people like this into the country. Aren't there any non-criminals trying to immigrate here?

When will these people learn taht there is no short cut to make a decent living work hard and make money you will have a good night sleep but i guess i`m wrong every other day there is someone caught at the border and these people make it hard for other drivers who run legal and want to earn money by working hard. Court should seize there assets and make them suffer and send there ##### to where they came from. Every day honest drivers are pulled in for x ray or dock check because of these sob`s.

I wish they (the so called authorities) would toss the book at these folks. However, having said that I now take it back as the book needs to be re written to truly deal with this sort of crime.

This is not in any way shape or form a statement on my personal opinion of cannabis or any other substance for that matter.

It is quite simply my feelings toward smuggling of any illegal commodity for monetary gain. You will get caught eventually and the impact on all of us law abiding truckers is to make our life more difficult and add serious Pain in the #$$ factors to all we do. More frequent inspections, x-ray, dogs etc. etc. ad infinitum.

What the hell ever happened to working hard to EARN your living?!

The easier, softer way rarely pays in the end and usually ends up costing those who follow.

Get off of the greed wagon and if you do not wish to abide by our laws, customs and traditions....then please feel free not to come in the first place. Don't try to change our laws to match those of your native land. If your laws are so good then why did you leave??

Work with everyone, adapt and be considerate and civil in all that you do....then I say welcome aboard!!!

Yeah, what they said. We all know that nobody born in Canada would ever be involved in smuggling.

And yeah, stupid immigrants bringing their customs and traditions. Other than those which take place on reserves pretty much all of our customs and traditions came from immigrants.

The ignorance in this thread is pathetic.
