Workers Comp is the same with any trucking company and the States are different too. Wishing you luck.

btw, I drive for Central too, but my wife is the owner of the truck, so I guess I work for her, LOL. Anyway, I do not have to worry about Central, just the State of Utah!

Had a friend who was released from A DR'S CARE, with a clean bill of health. His dr. FAILED to tell wrokmens comp, and they refuse to pay the bill , because they had my friend on tape,( after his release date) doing yard work, lifting, bending over etc. Took my friend d 6 years to prove to Utaw, that he had been released to return to a normal life style. Utaw ended up paying his lawyers fees as well as the final dr's bills. -
Really, now a 3 year bump?

If one is really injured one should not have to worry about being filmed, unless they are making corrupt films. Corruption is everywhere these days, especially in our government and big money companies, including the trucking industry as a whole.

Trucking industry can purchase more justice than drivers can that is why trucking industry can do anything it wants to and you Mr. Driver can do nothing about it. Jerry Moyes (real owner of Central) can send lobbyist to purchase any kind of justice that Jerry needs and that is the way that it is. Justice is for sale Jerry can pay and drivers cannot that is the sad truth.

PEDROMORALES you hit the nail on the head and i gotta remind everyone that these guys are powerful, i mean really powerful, the trucking industry in the U.S. spends billions on fuel etc. a day and they dictate how policy is made, enacted and enforced. These greedy jokers will reduce us in numbers just to create the inflation that will make them wealthier in the short-term but destroy our Nation in the end. Truckers won't unite but imagine the power we could wield if we did! Now imagine that power in the hands of a few dozen, holy crap what a nightmare!!!!!!!!!

Not gonna go into detail about HIPAA here on the forum but you can google it. The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA; Pub.L. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1936, enacted August 21, 1996)
Too bad you didn't record that exchange presuming a one party state.
