I got a quote from a reputable big truck body shop to install a factory fairing on my 379 stand up sleeper for $3000. I can install the turbo wing for $1100 and do it my self with a lot less down time. I,m pretty sure the pete fairing will produce better results than the wing but would like to know how much difference there will be. I read a couple old threads on this but am hoping for some knew info.
Turbo wing or factory fairing?

Anyone that removes factory sleepers might have brackets they would part with. Try somewhere that does daycab or sleeper conversions.
I drove by Triple R Diesel in San Antonio recently. They had dozens of 379 sleepers outside. -
I think you're right about the stock Pete fairing flowing better, but by how much is really gonna be determined by the angle you install the wing at. Too steep of an angle and you could add drag instead of lessen it.
