I can't give you anything real current on them. But, I've run across their water haulers on lease roads from the Cotton Valley all the way through the Permian Basin. It was always my impression that all you have to do is be able to spell "CDL" and you're in the driver's seat, ready to run at speeds of up to 60mph on lease roads that I could never get out of low range on.

They were always somewhat of a challenge. Not just meeting them on a narrow lease road where they obviously were in contests with each other to see who could have the tallest roostertail of dust behind them, either. It was always an amusing personal challenge to see how many of them you could get stacked up behind you on a lease road if you were going to the same rig.

So, it's my observation that you could probably improve their quality of drivers if you can at least count all the way up to your IQ without using your fingers. Hope this helps.

My question is why? You'd be better off moving to the metroplex and working local. That oil field stuff is boom or bust. Hire like crazy when oil is up and they are drilling and your get laid off when oil drops. Plus the rigs and wells are not usually right off the interstate they are out in the boonies on goat paths.

But if you really want to work in the oil field, them along with Nabors, Haliburton, Schluberger (never could spell it) are some of the biggest outfits around.

    brooklynsfinest Thanks this.
