My first day went well. Got some good studying to do tonight. The trucks seem better than what I used for school. I hope I get a lot of practice with there only being me and one other guy.

Believe me, I would rather shift,.... but the ole knees aint what they used to be!

I hear most "auto companies" are switching back anyway. I really just want to get out west some!

I think you can ask for a auto, they stuck me in one because it was available in my home/terminal of Phx, they will want to see your double clutching and then you can ask for one, my truck was in Phx I have no idea if it is stil there, the number on it is 1832 I wish you well.

What is the acceptable distance from a terminal for a potential W/S driver? I live in Athens, Ga

PS. Sorry if this has already been addressed but I didn't see it.

Got to drive the brown-ish training truck today. That was, uh, fun. Honestly. I think I learned quite a bit in one afternoon.

Tim told us they don't care anymore. Only thing where you live affects home time

I live 145mi from Dalton but would give serious thought to W/S based upon the info I've picked up here.

Driver satisfaction seems to be high, the company seems to be run in a common sense and ethical way and training sounds first rate.
