Truck Stop v Ship/Rec dock

5 watts...............500 watts................don't make no diff when your that close...the message gets made

 

I`ll give a guy 4 tries to get in the dock, then Ill have to say something. I just cant resist this, watching him back in, and getting no where. I get on the radio, and then call the spotter, if he`s busy, Ill get out and help, but only for a short time. I have no patience for this any more.

 

Sorry Sequoia, but Landshark is right. If its ####eyed, its no good.

 

I would never do that, why make the guy nervous or make yourself look like a total jerk, in the overall scheme of things, who gives a crap if it takes him/her 10 tries? As long as they dont hit stuff, I would never say anything, I would, and have helped as I would hope others would do for me.

Trucking is a brotherhood, and those who make fun of others mistakes arent nice and hopefully do not represent any significant number of truckers.

Ask yourself, would John Lennon do that? lol No man, he would go help and give them the peace sign when he was done.

I may back perfectly into a spot in one shot but if I'm not perfectly straight I will do as many pull ups as necessary to make it perfectly straight! I don't care who yells on the radio. if I'm not perfect I don't pull the air brakes!

The thing is, even if it does take them 10 try's atleast they care enough to get it straight. As for a 20+ year vet, I really hope by now you can back just about anything anywhere ya want. I for one have never backed a trailer (or anything in that matter) so when school starts and it's yard time, I know that just because they are trying to rush me I still need to take my time. Because in school, it is where I learn the basic's like not rushing
