anyone done a 379 auto shift to 13/18 swap

    got a 04 pete 379 merritor 12sp great tranny when it works want to look into how much trouble/cash im looking at to do a swap got a great truck tranny keeps me on my toes ive got 10k labor/electronics/tow bills tied up in this thing dont know if flywheel/clutch will transfer will need all pedal assy maybe driveline shift tower ect anyone been here $$$$$$$$$$:biggrin_2552:

    Yea we have done it plenty of times, it's really an easy swap. Takes two days in the shop. Here's what it involves:

    1. Fuller re-man RTLO-18918B ... 1 yr warranty (rebuilt in our gear shop ...... $4,750.00


    2. Parts & Labor to R&R:
    • New Spicer U-Joint for the back of Tranny
    • New Spicer 1850 Torque Easy Pedal Clutch, Pilot bearing & Clutch brake
    • New rear engine crank seal
    • Surface the Flywheel
    • Fuller Trans Tower & Shift Lever
    • 18 speed shift knob & plumbing to the Trans
    • Floor Plate
    • Total Parts & Labor to install
    ................................................................................. $3,450.00


    3. Total Job Cost P&L .................................................... $8,200.00

    What if one doesn't need all the high-torque components...is it any cheaper?

    Gambi80 ... no the price will be very similar

    Busy ... The ECM is programing only. We need to add about $500 for the clutch pedal, clutch linkage and electronic switching requirments. I apologize for the inconvenience in the website, i will have our IT people check into it. Feel free to shoot me an email bo@kustom-products.com
