The fuel pressure gauge in my '05 379 is very erratic. Is this likely to be a gauge issue, sender issue or something else?

Could be the gauge, easy enough to change. Replaced quite a few as they don't seem to hold up as long as they should

All you have to do is get a 1/4 or 1/8 inch fitting. Whatever size line you have to your firewall. I have seen both and fill about half full of acid core solder using a torch. Be careful not to get it to hot and drill it out with 1/16 drill bit and that will take alot of your bounce out. Have used .030 bit before but I think it was to small and have better results with the 1/16th
