    GBD.. the way it works is Mike Millis will send a msg to all his trainers about the students he has available, then the trainers will let him know who they are willing to take at this time. Please be patient....I know you are READY....but it may take a few days to get everything put together. Mr. Millis will be in Trenton this week and he will be putting on a trainer class for new trainers that are coming on board so you may end up with one of those guys...who knows!!! Look forward to meeting you next week.

    My trainer called from one of the Millis breakrooms while I was driving from Ohio back to Atlanta yesterday. He didn't leave a message so I don't know know how to contact him. Any ideas on how to find out who they are?

    Got the call from Vince-my trainer. He is on a run to Albany then to Virginia. He delivers in Virginia on Monday and may make it to Cartersville on Tuesday. Hope all goes well and I will be on the road Tuesday or Wednesday.

    Question? When I first started this quest in my life I inquire with Millis and was told they didnt hire in my area that I needed to be closer to Dallas. So I ended going to a PTDI CDL school (paid out of my own pocket) just finished at the end of april. Well why searching for jobs, I see tha Millis is now hiring in the Austin area. Will they consider me at all or will I have to go thru their school all over again to even be considered???

    Son of a trucker...Unfortunately Millis doesn't hire recent graduates from other schools....it's an insurance thing I think. You can hire on once you've been with another company on the road for 6 months. You can verify that by calling 1-800-937-0880 and talk to someone in personnel. Sorry to give you that news.
