as the price pf diesel goes up these companys are going to be getting stricter on the idle policys, jj ranchs company is even making their trucks to where they will not idle its gonna be a long hot summer espically when you cant run the ac at night and it will be worse if you end up taking your break during the middle of the day.

well i have been with central since january and so far i haven't had any problems. i have 14 yrs driving but i had to give up my cdl and stop driving for about 3 yrs because my father passed and i had to take care of family. i looked into getting back to driving because my wife of 22 yrs decided she wanted a divorce on of all days christmas day. i looked into central and they told me i would have to go through the school which i did and spent 99% of my time showing the other students how to back and paralel park because our instructor stayed on his cell phone all the time. well then they send me out with a trainer who tells me the first thing that he has been driving for almost a year and i was his first trainnie. i just laughed and said well lets go. well to make a long story even more longer my d/m and get along great i run on average 11,000 to the most i have gotten is 11,985 miles per month now granted that is just the two months i have been out but most of the runs i get average around 900 miles. i guess the reason i get runs like that is because right off the bat i told him how much experiance i have which he knew beforehand central told him i found that out later. but i told him i don't sit, i run like hell for a month then go home for a little then run like hell and if he couldn't keep me rolling that i would find someone who could and would or with the yrs. that i have go somewhere else and leave thier trk. sitting at the airport running and the #### refer. shut down. well so far so good hope everything works out for everyone and if not just remember you have a class a cdl and companies are looking everyday so don't be job scared. hell if all falls through leave the trk. running and shut the #### refer off see how quick you get results. hahaha.

nuttin' I got the idle bonus..
No offense, but you can help it if the bunk heater blows cold air.. get it fixed. Tell your DM you need to get to a terminal and have it fixed or tell OTRM you need it fixed.
On the other hand I am more concerned with the heat... It is going to be an interesting summer..Lady K and John Patrick Thank this. -

Central is being ridiculous with the overidle B.S. and what's really bad is how you can forget receiving an underidle bonus because it's nearly impossible to qualify for them unless you never get asked to repower loads, never have to deal with their crappy equipment, never have to spend at least 4 hours on the 01 & 99 on each load, don't wind up stuck doing 200 mile loads that can't be on time over & over again and you never go home. Central is a big lie and if you look around hard enough you will find companies that don't charge for idle time and even some with APUs not to mention email, games. sat. radio and more plus better pay. If you think that they have more miles that may be true but if you are paid more a mile why put up with paying for comfort? Here's a good example for company drivers...new co. gets you 2200 miles a week # .35 =$770 Central gets you 2700 # .29 =$783...they can keep their 500 miles for an extra $13 plus i don't have to deal with jerks like Cole Thompson and the majority of the management their. Some great folks in this organization but they are few and far between.

Guess I'll give mine back then, but what does all of what you said have to do with an idle bonus?
I guess I must be the only one with a great dm, decent runs, decent equipment and getting home when I want to.
Not saying Central is perfect, but from my perspective they aren't all that bad either. Furthermore the folks at Conley have been nothing but nice including Cole.Lady K Thanks this. -
