Thanks Cage, it seems that a lot of people are using their cpap on an inverter with no problems, so I guess I will have to go for it, hope my trainer has an apu on his truck. Yes it is a carded machine. Prime has also requested all info from my sleep doctor, have that covered. Head out to SLC on sat morn for orientation.

You should double-check with the manufacturer of your CPAP machine. Some work fine on a standard inverter - others require a pure sinewave output. If it's the later, the detail shop at Springfield would be happy to install one (you may have to purchase it yourself) for you. BTW... that's something they're really touchy about - make sure you get the company to install it for you!dieseldust Thanks this.

I called respironics about my machine and they said mine can run on either modified or pure sinewave. I am on a bi pap pro.dieseldust Thanks this.

Awesome good luck keep us posted on your progress.

Thanks Ironpony and Cage for the info, called resperonics and the tech said that the machine will run off of either but modified was best. So I should be good to go. Once again I really appreciate all the help that I have got from these posts. Yes I will keep you all updated on my adventure, and I am sure there will be more questions as this journey unfolds, it is nice to know that there are people on these threads who are willing to help a newbie. Hope to meet some of you when I am on the road.

Well I made it back to Springfield got off my flatbed trainers truck on and with a reefer trainer. New trainer appears to be a good guy, I lucked out. He knows what I need to get done and is ready to help get me there. I had some issues with communication with my recruiter so I contacted the powers that be and made the change for now. I REALLY enjoyed flatbed but was not getting the miles needed to get complete fast enough so I changed to reefer. The plan is to see how reefer goes and maybe switch to flatbed again later. Pending no uncontrollable happenings I WILL make it home on Friday for my daughters play and be back out again Saturday and should be into Springfield again around the 9th or 10th and off I will go. I am sitting in Newton, MI delivery at 4am and off we go to Cali and then north to home. AWESOME company here guys really worked with me to make things happen.

Here I sit in Reno, NV. We deliver in Portland tomorrow morning between 8 and 10 then dead head north to my house. I am VERY impressed with these guys, I talked to the right people and asked for help and Prime was there I am very happy to be a member of the Prime driver team. I will be home Thursday night and hit the road again Saturday morning to finish 4000 miles then into my own truck and off and running. I am still leaning toward lease my new trainer says I am crazy to lease he has been company for 4 years and is not thinking about going company now with me chatting with him about it he thinks he may give it a shot.
So delivery tomorrow home 2 days finish training and get my truck. Thanks to those who assisted me to get this done. -
