I am leaving tomorrow for Missoula. I am wondering do they train through the weekend or do they take weekends off. I have some family in Stevensville that I haven't seen in years would be nice to see them. I am starting to get alittle nervous and excited trucking is going to be a whole new life for me. I've loaded trucks for close to 25 years it will be nice to be on the other end of the truck.

The weekend counts as part of the 10 days though there is no "formal" training on the Sat/Sun. The trucks are available to practice in the yard with if you want. Otherwise you're free to do what you want.

I'm heading up for orientation on the 16th in Missoula. Keep us posted on how orientation goes for you. My understanding is that you are free to do what you want on the weekend but it would benefit you to spend some time in the yard practicing. Not only will it make you a better driver but it will also show your desire to learn and be the best and safest that you can be on the road. Orientation isn't a guaranteed hire until the end when you fill out that w-2 and all the rest of the paperwork. Good luck and I look forward to your updates!

I will be in Missoula on Monday. I have a friend who is no longer driving and asked me to sell a few things for him. I have a RandMcNally 5" GPS for sale, also a small Microwave and a Cobra CB. Maybe some of you new guys could use this stuff. Should me a message if your interested.
