Well, here is our new truck. They are detailing it now and then putting our inverter and CB in.

#22075......I think I am in love.

    Now you need a name!

    Looks good, Craig.

Good luck with the new truck. Lets hope the Gremlins are kept to a minimum.

Is it an auto shift or 10spd manual?

All of the 2012's are 10 speeds.

Plus it has Duals an the drive axles. No Super Singles! We are just waiting for the shop to install the inverter and CB.

On a side note ...Wow have they upgraded the Ellenwood terminal. It is very nice now.

Cool!!!! Good luck with the new truck. Is the 10 speed a super 10 or is it a regular 10 speed? My training is going good, can't wait to get it over.

During your time at USX have you ever driven the Auto-Tran? I will be a newbie soon enough, but I would think learning and sticking with the 10-speed would be better in the long run so you do not lose what you were taught in school.

My wife and I start class for our CDL's on Saturday! We are really excited and based on everything I have read about USX we are really confident that it would be the right fit for us (if they take us... we will have our fingers crossed). We are doing the weekend classes, because we work during the week. By June it will be time to go OTR. They even have dorms so we can stay overnight with our cat. Kudos on your new truck it looks awesome! Again, thanks for all the great info.

    Thanks for the good advice!
As always, I enjoy reading about your success and great outlook on the adventure! Couldn't agree more about people complaining about "being treated badly".... 'The Secret' is we all make our own rewards.
Nice that you got a new rig! I didn't really catch the story of the first one's failing(s) but would like to hear if the new one has any.
Say a prayer for the folks in the storm ravaged SE
