I don't know the story behind that series of photos. There's about 5 or 6 pics that show the extraction of the truck off the tracks, but no back story.

To me, it's always seemed to be movers who've had problems with this and their double drop vans. I can't even recall how many times I'd see moving trucks hung up on something as I pulled an RGN throughout Raleigh-Durham and the surrounding areas. Granted, someone from, say, Michigan isn't going to have the kind of intimate knowledge of the roadways like a local will, and they don't have the added benefit of a detachable hydraulic neck which can be set to allow a little more clearance. Still, you have to make a judgment call on these things.

The only advice I can give is, "Floor it and ignore it!!". It you take those words to heart you will never have another problem in life.

I pull an RGN and my advice is always power, cause momentum is your friend. Only 1 place I have ever hung up was comming out of a drive where I had to turn left, I was loaded down at 92,000 lbs.
