thats really good advice---since that video came from the drivers own dashcam and not a big brother cam

See why you are still a part of the British Imperial Empire up there canuck?
Us #### Yanks gotta do all the legwork for (yalls!)
For most, I'd just go ahead and clear my good name with the name of the company, and how this video found it's way to youtube.
However, since you have been banging around these environs for quite a while also, bloke. I'll leave this one to you.
Your apology will be appreciated. Yet, certainly not expected.

Graphic footage of a double fatal big rig accident which Cal Fire crews worked Monday near Colfax captured by Wal Mart truck on-board video recorder..
need citations ?
-
Major tom, I believe there's a slight difference between dash cam/audio and sleeper cam/audio, which the original poster was inquiring about. I don't believe ANY company has "secret cam/video" operating in a truck sleeper to spy on their drivers while resting/sleeping/reading/love making/changing clothing/eating/or any personal business. Much like casinos don't have security cams in a restroom.
RICO and trucker_101 Thank this. -
ok then--please tell me ,as i really dont know--which companies have cams on their drivers ,or cameras on the truck taping---cause i sure dont want to work there
trucker_101 and RICO Thank this. -
Umm, yes for all the nonsense you've been spouting.
Although the wal-mart one sounds likely, kinda like dash mounted cop cams. But a real citation woull be good, not someone's blog site either.
-Steventrucker_101 and RICO Thank this. -
I know a local company that has in cab cameras that face the driver. According the the driver I know they are motion controlled, they active with hard braking, or other sudden movements of the truck.
-
It came from the drivers OWN video camera...That he had set up to protect himself, not a company camera.
RICO and canuck in da truck Thank this. -
Agreed. Although that was not the point that originally intended to make. I will concede that I lead it down that path by my comments regarding (other
) truckers' possible experiences and uh hummmmm activities at some of the more (choice) truck stops across the US. My bad.

I like ya quote! We've got one here to? Without trucks, Australia stops!
trucker_101 Thanks this.
