OK, so you knew what you were doing. He may not have known that. Seems to me you're making assumptions about him.

I've had veteran drivers and new guys alike offer help to me when I didn't need it. I've also been one to let drivers know they're clear on the blindside without "knowing" they did or didn't need help.

When someone tries to help me whether I need it or not , I thank them not tell them to "shut up".

Did you talk with him afterward to "know" he's a "brand new driver"? Just curious how you "know" he's brand new and trying to be tough sheet??

I thanked him after he first told me i had plenty of room on that side as i was backing in.

There is NO reason to start talking to anyone while they are backing in unless they are about to hit something OR are struggling to get it in.

And yes, since my window was open he invited himself to start talking after i pulled the brakes, he's been solo 2 weeks! and has ducktape holding his bumper and fender on his "NEW" truck.

As well as the fact no one with half a brain stays with covenant, people go their because they either cant get on anywhere else or they dont know any better, but once they get some experiance and learn about Covenant they Run away real quick.

Oh I did the "interview" thing for that college kid today. He sent me 11 (i think) questions for me to answer. I'm not sure what his project is, but i'll let you know when I find out lol

"he's been solo 2 weeks! and has ducktape holding his bumper and fender on his "NEW" truck. ":biggrin_2558: Ever think the reason he was offering assistance was do to the fact SOMEONE had back into his truck causing the DUCT TAPE repair.

Anytime i'm in the truckstop I always offer help. I know I like someone lending a hand. I've been driving for 14 years and still don't mind when someone lends a hand when I'm backing in my spot... It's always nice to know that your not going to hit something.......
