I get 30% of the loads gross as driver pay. It may come to me as a check or direct deposit. This depends on whether or not I'm in town or out. I'm only paid after the shipper pays the carriers invoice. That means some weeks I get nothing at all. But other weeks I may get paid three or four times.

Paid what the hell is that, I see the settlement the boss lady see's the deposit, about 3 weeks ago she told me that by May 15th I had to go back to work as I had officially used up my "vacation money" my mad money is now gone so I am back to the road again after 4 months of trying like hell to put trucking behind me, it did not work lol.
As for the fella who gets paid when the shipper pays,
In this wonderful world of Direct deposit, wire transfers ( which brokers used to pay on back in 80's when I started driving and I am sure they did it before then lol ) computers, internet and a little inside knowledge knowing most Accounts receivables departments send invoices as soon as you call in, or fax or transflo your bills no way in hell i would wait 3 weeks for my pay when your boss man is collecting interest just sayin.Giggles the Original Thanks this. -
Paid weekly through direct deposit on percentage pay. Settlements are sent to me via email.
