Got a dilemma

    I am a new driver that upgraded to first seat driver about two weeks ago. Now I thought that I would get a truck after upgrading but since I am a company driver I am on a waiting list for a truck. If I went L/P then they will get me a truck. Anyway I am on my 2nd week of waiting and no word on truck availability yet. I would look elsewhere but I already did 2 months out with a trainer getting training pay and I really dont wanna go through that again. Need some advise please!

    stay in touch with whomever....dispatcher, driver-manager, whatever they call themselves these days......i'd suggest calling 3 times a week, monday, wednesday, friday........and for gosh sakes, DO NOT lease a truck....!!!

    Doesn't even matter what company it is... it's an age-old trick.. they're waiting you out, starving you until you cave and lease a truck. I hate that companies do this, Ive researched the legal basis for slamming them (given my line of work)... but the only thing I've come up with so far is Constructive Discharge, but that's a stretch in situations like these.

    They're trying to starve you out to make you lease a truck. By any chance is it CRE?

    Funny thing is a guy that upgraded with me got a truck last week and I am still waiting. I think its because he went OTR and I am going regional. No, its KLLM
