Started School Today

So i have been here a while and looking to get to school .
Careerlink and their program through (WIA) was no help in the end.!
Thats a long story in its own and just nothing but a bunch of headaches.

So i came up with the cash to go to a local school , used by the careerlink in the area .
Got a bit of a break for getting my Permit on my own and decided to take it on.
Since i had my permit and was pretty well studied up i started class with the others who had been working all last week on getting their permits.

Had a cpl hours this morning in classroom, going over tests they all had from homework and some new material for all of us.
Then we all went to the Practice grounds for shifting Practice.

Not a bad day in all . Classes will be 10 hr days and everyone gets plenty of driving time .

School is gonig Good !

Had a few hiccups on my On Road training , but all in all things are going good.
Getting time in the trucks on the Range and On road also.

Freightliners with Detroits and 10 speeds so all should fit in pretty well with the trucks we may end up driving.

Meshing some of the gears at times requires a lil patience and is not always just right ! lol
We are working on it and will continue to work on it until it is correct.

Dont see where there should be any problems, have near 400 road miles right now and the alley dock and blind-side paralell parking came fairly easy, seems some are having a bit of a problem with them.

Have a couple good bites on Local gigs 1 is hauling building products
and the other is a Tanker Yanker job that may include other trailers at times hauling dry goods.

Will see what goes , in the meantime i am applying at several others,

TMC , Maverick and a cpl others and see what kind of offers i might recieve.

Well may 5th is here and i am now an entry level CDLA holder with doubles/triples and tanker endorsement!

Graduation day is tommorow and im all finished with schooling 1
