Surprise paycheck hit: goverened at 62 MPH

I'm governed at 63. I usually just drive 60, I blame my OCD not wanting to drive such an odd number! But there are sometime where being able to drive 70 would've been MUCH appreciated. I wouldn't have had to drive 13 hours a day to be on time.

Even though that situation never happened. And you can't prove that it did. All my logs are legal... or at least look that way. Ugh, I rue the day paperless logs are the norm.

 

I try to plan my trips according to large truck stop parking lots. I dont like to get caught behind and try my luck at a small TS in a metro area. Thankfully my "headache loads" are few and far between. But man, nothing is more emasculating then those #### Swift Volvos blowing the paint off my doors..

 

company drivers should especially understand.

You don't want a castrated truck. Easy peasy.....you get your own truck, run your own buisness. It's so #### easy! lol

 

Whoa whoa calm down killa. I think he is just complaining about no compensation as the main part. To bad grandma will pass him
