A Big Warm Hello to all!!!!

I am a very new tractor trailer driver from Ontario, Canada. I have been driving a straight truck for eight years and specialized in "Dangerous Goods" shipping. (Haz-Mat)

I currently hold an Ontario class "DZ" license and am two weeks from completing my course and will do my road test for my "ACZ" on May 20, 2011.

I am a "sponge" right now and am learning all I can about OTR trucking as that is where I will be heading.

I am enrolled with "Transport Training Centres of Canada" and have top notch instructors.

Looking forward to many years of learning, growing and sharing.....not to mention.....a million miles of highway ahead.:biggrin_25519:

I will also take a moment to say thank you for all I have learned from this site already.

I will also take a moment to mention that I have expert knowledge of Canada's Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations. If anyone ever has a query in that regard.....never hesitate to ask.

You cant keep it if you don't give it away!!!

Contrary to what many may think, Canada does indeed have a summer with temperatures that get above freezing. It only lasts a week or so but summer nonetheless. Our parliament buildings are not made of ice, although it can be said it's inhabitants have icewater for blood, and we do have flush toilets now as well as more coffee and donut shops per capita than any other nation on the planet. (contemplating now as to whether that is something to brag about or not as the writer reaches for his extra large double-double) hmmmm....come to think of it now....it is said that Canada has only two seasons - "Construction and winter!"

Oh well....it's home and I love it eh!!!! (the writer swats away at the swarm of blackflies and mosquitos around his head):yes2557:
