From what I've read, you won't be able to use it, you'll need to get a new one there. The reason you might want to get one before you go is so you have the knowledge to pass the permit test in MO since they don't give you much time to study before you need to take the test.
-
ok I did not read that on their website but ill call the recruiter back and ask the question
-
Your Washington permit will be fine. I completed my orientation last Feb and unless things have changed, the people who arrived with their permits went to the Sim Lab on the 1st and 2nd days while us who didn't have our permits studied for and took our permit test. They actually encourage you to get it in your home state before coming if at all possible.
jdsouza Thanks this. -
Guess I was wrong then

It seems like things are constantly changing, so I wouldn't be surprised if maybe you read where at one point things were different.
-
So true. Things are always changing at Prime. While we try to give good info here, some of it may be outdated. For the latest info, ask a recruiter. They're at the terminals while we're out here running the 48.

As long as MO will accept the permit as proof of you passing the written tests, it's ok. Otherwise you have to take the written tests again to get a MO permit. I've never had a student from Washington state, but I would think you'd be fine. Recruiting would know for sure.
jdsouza Thanks this.
