I have filled out other applications in my days and never have been asked for my SSN. I wonder why almost every trucking company ask for your when you first fill out the application.

Well most medium/large company's do background / criminal record checks. I can't recall never not putting my SSN on a application for company's I've applied with.Freebird135 Thanks this.

Like the other guy said,criminal history also because they want to see your income you made in the last so years,us citizenship
