Starting school Monday May 9th

Well it has been a long wait but I will be starting school this coming Monday. I will be going to Professional Drivers Institute in New Buffalo MI.
Looking forward to getting my CDL and starting my new career.

 

First day of school! I am looking forward to the next 3 weeks. I know alot of you have thoughts on "newbies" and "CDL mills". But for me this represents a new beginning and going back to work and supporting my family.
Unemployment is great for the first 2-4 weeks but then its time to get back out and do something.

 

Third day is done. I got to drive today. it was only going forward and backing up; but I was driving LOL. Went to the DMV today and took all three tests to get my TIP. Having a good time and learning alot. The instructors are great.

 

Well the first week is done, and I am having a blast. Yesterday I spent 8 eight hours in my own truck going thru the manuevers on the range. Spent half the day on the range and the other half in the "shift truck" learning how to double clutch". The instructor is good, very patient. All in all I would give the school a 10.
