However, now I will piss and moan because I have something that irks me. Sooooooooo, on the way into fontana the turbo actautor started setting a run stop code. Limped it to the terminal and set it up so we could have a loaner. The loaner is one of these wonderful Freightliners everybody raves about. We decided it would be better than sitting, so we will give it a shot. It took them until nearly 4:30 to get it ready mechanically (it only needed a lube and an air hose). We cleaned the inside. Thanks to the storage cubes and good organization, I was able to prep our necessities to swap over in short time. We dropped off the truck at Cummins at literally 5:58 and they close at 6:00. We heard from them how no one has done the right thing on this truck since we started having issues. Well, duh, that is why I joked with the guy about putting dynamite in the fuel tank. Anyway, the new truck comes complete with the new Qualcomm, so we had to wait until safety was in on Friday morning to log us into the new system, so we lost a load. Got some rest, and I have to say I miss my mattress (Sleepdog is highly recommended). On top of the spring crud, it isn't as wide, and that 3" matters. Despite what people say, it lacks power, the jake sucks, rides like crap, and you can't sleep while it is moving. Oh I want my truck back -

As noted in another post the desirable local runs are expecting 2 years OTR. I just figured if you are going to stay out for the second year why not get paid more?biker dave Thanks this. -
how long have you been with them, do they have accounts with lumbers at those warehouse's or to ya have to call for a comcheck no. which kinda bites cause there unloading other trucks while you wait for the p.o number, transam was a little of both, some accounts some comcheck numbers, work there for 2 years back in the 90's, usually reefer is longer runs per trip, dry box shorter but no lumbers, 400 to 600 mile trips every day will wear you out versus 1000 and up trips,
