Just another driver that couldn't hack it, nothing wrong with the company. I know a lot of these guys, both flats and reefer, I don't hear any of what this driver is saying.
As always, we probably are not getting the whole story.

    robz1017 Thanks this.

YEP that's what I was thinking. One thing that has draw me to them is the cancer insurance. Since I'm still have four more years to be cancer free.

just got done running team with my wife for decker and it was the worst job I've ever had. My commercial lic turns 40 this Jan. and after 3 months with decker I'm thinking seriously of getting off the road. The company we were with before, ran 5000 miles a week for 26 months, with 2 days off at the house. Got tired of running NJ from Montana and called decker up and were given the royal treatment. As soon as we got in the truck it all went to hell in a hand basket. Lies, layovers, bad equipment and the worst, luckyif we ever broke 3000 miles in a week. And that took 7 days to do! I have never been treated as bad as decker treated us. My mistake for thinking the grass might be greener somewhere else. It was great to get out of their truck and my phone started ringing as soon as I did.

He's stating that his cdl turns 40 but yet his profile states 20yrs exp. He might be meaning something else but I don't know, other than that it doesn't appear believable to me either.

ok folks, I recieved my commercial in montana when I was 17, worked construction with bellies, end dumps, truck mounted cranes. Went to work for my first time over the road with watkins and shepard in 1987, basicly when they first split off from tiger/tripp in missoula. I turn 57 this jan. That makes my lic 40 at that time. When I said in my last post that my phone started ringing as soon as my wife and I got out of deckers truck it was for more belly/side dump work. Thats where I will be till she freezes up in Nov. You have a nice summer now. see ya

Does Decker pay any fuel bonuses? Any other bonuses?

could you describe the bonuses you get? I am working on retooling our bonus system and I am wondering what others do.
