Monteagle Truckstop Isn't Open!

Kinda nice to see the old dump gone...
Would of been nice if the owner could of rebuilt it though, but last I knew it was a lady who took it over when her hubby passed years back.

Was suprised when I pulled in there last week and they were gone.
That lot across the road is a real pain. So many chuck hole there that are deep, was afraid of snapping an axle trying to get around in the lot.

 

I am posting this from my truck sitting at the bottom of one of the parking lot holes, can I borrow a skateboard hands chain or straps?

 

The lot at the Chinesse place just down the road from there is alot better, and the food is pretty good also.

 

If I remember right, there's a barbecue joint behind the little gas station next to the Monteagle "Parking Lot". Good food but kinda pricey. And Crazy Ed's may not have been the greatest place in the world but they had a place to pull the brake and a decent c.b. shop.
