There is no lefthand turn after that exit ramp. It feeds directly onto an overpass.

Since when using the cruise control on an off ramp is acceptable? Anyone doing that no matter what they r driving shouldn't be behind a wheel of a vehicle.

The anti-roll software is active all the time - whether the cruise control is coupled or not.

Prime truck driver runs over poor innocent disabled man...How many more people must die before the DOT shuts this Driver Mill down. I hope Prime gets a big fat lawsuit!

Without a doubt. I can't imagine the guy will get away clean from the NC authorities, and it surprises me that he wasn't cited for something just to keep him within the jurisdiction. From what I've seen of that interchange, if the guy was going balls to the wall on the exit ramp he'd have rolled the truck, and second I can't see how he would have gotten the tandems far enough left to have hit anything - unless he jumped the median into oncoming traffic. Either way, I'd think he would have been cited on the spot for wreckless driving and vehicular manslaughter. But he wasn't which begs the question, was there some sort of extenuating circumstance?

question, is it legal to be in a median like that selling papers? and as ironpony said if you have ever been on that exit , he would have rolled over long before he got to thage newspaper guy.

and what would you expect the winston salem journal report to be? they are the ones who stationed him there.

again if any of you are familiar with this intersection, you would know the news reports are at odds with the road conditions.
