I've HEARD ... That pneumatics are pretty cool .. Not sure as to what work is really involved , I know a blower is on the truck that's bout it

I couldn't unload one if it was required of Me

I know there is something to do with pressures etc but I've also heard IRS not hard to learn just like chemicals

Is this a busy season for tank business overall. I just received an email from Dillion Transport asking me to fill out an application. I leave my resume posted on Monster.Com and Career Builder. getting alot of calls lately for some reason. I asked if I could talk with some of the drivers to get direct feedback from them. They are going to set it up for me. I am looking to retire from this job so I have to make the correct decision. It sounds like you like what you do. I just can't see have to hand unload a trailer every day when I am 58 years old or older. Should be able to do tanker I would hope.

Could be but he's also had some nightmares getting to this place. Kind of sounds like "living life", eh.

Pulled into Atlanta Ga , gonna get another 16 hr layover pay since I planned it just right ... Yeah me :) but never the less I get my additional 150 for 16 hrs 10 of which is my DOT break not a bad deal ... Lol

Deliver 21 miles up the road in Doraville at 0730

Then empty to my home terminal and will be on Friday Dispatch and prob get back out Sunday if all works out well ...

Tomorrows load is a Pump job so I'll draw a little cash there $40.00 to pump it off
Thin product so I figure bout .. 45 mins to 1 hr job depending on Lab approving my sample :) let's hope it goes quick

If all goes as planned should be bout a
    2300 mile run
Avg rev to truck ( miles ) 1.47 ( all miles loaded and MT )
    Total $ 3381.00
    Plus layovers x 2 150.00 each
    Total $ 300.00
    2.5 hrs Deimurge # 35.00
    Total
    $87.50
    Total before fuel

    $3768.50

    Fuel costs
    450
    425
    204
    Total 1079.00

Total profit ??? Do the math ... Lol
