So I'm a company driver without enough seniority to be assigned my own tractor. What I want to know is, if I mirror mount my antenna and calibrate it, can I reliably take it from tractor to tractor (they're all the same make and model) and expect my SWR to remain fairly constant as long as I mount in the same spot every time?

Given the conditions you propose, the answer is "probably yes". My answer assumes that the mirror mounts are all assembled correctly to the cab, and that all stock wiring is, in fact, stock.
Since you're going to minimize the variables that can creep into the equation, you're doing it right.

The only variable that might be a problem is how good the ground connection for the mirror is on each truck. This might vary with age, corrosion, etc. even if they are all the same.
