nasty bathrooms???

its not just drivers--its society in general---people are pigs and just as nasty as animals

 

Only in a truckstop bathroom have I seen crap streaked tp on the floor...right next to an empty beer can..

 

I have often wondered what it is about trucking that seems to attract only the dregs of society (with some exceptions, of course) as well. Just so disrespectful!

 

Have you never been to any produce sheds were the majority of the workers are Mexican? Apparently in Mexico the sewer system is so bad they can't flush the toilet paper so they are accustom to not flushing it. Most places have signs telling them to flush their used toilet paper but a lot do not. You'll find lots of poopie toilet paper on the floor and in the trash cans.

 

I had a contract to operate a hotel in Banff. It wasn't a luxury hotel, but it was a very nice, clean one... towards the upper-middle in respect of rooms and rates. What an eye-opener.

Many people when in an environment where they don't feel compelled to act according to societal norms, i.e., they are away from family, some friends, or others whose respect they covet, are indeed pigs of the worst sort. Also, many people when not having to be responsible for their own environment, such as cleaning up after themselves, seem to go to extremes of behaviour. And while those actions cut across the entire spectrum of age, economic, ethnic and family status, there are stereotypes for a reason. I actually contemplated approaching the local universities and colleges and suggesting that they should include some practicum in hotels as part of certain humanities and medical programs. They could probably learn more about people in one month of front desk and house keeping duties than an entire year in the classroom.

 

News flash....Its not mexicans, i see alot of americans doing the same thing. Especially the ones who wear velcro for shoe laces....

 

News Flash... it is Mexicans. Maybe not all of them and they may not be the only offenders but it is Mexicans. I've only seen this in certain places... i.e. produce sheds and the like. Maybe the women's rooms are just not as bad as the men's in truckstops.

 

i have been known weekly to 10-200 in a shower room toilet. i do not like the nasty piss all over the floor, and such. i know the shower rooms arent much cleaner, but there isnt any VISIBLE feces on the toilet seat
