i know that i won't get lucky enough to get a manual shift truck but if i do i'm not gonna complain...lol, i spent the last year driving auto shift and they can be nice to get used you, i personally never had an issue with mine and yes they are great to have in stop and go traffic...but it would be ok to shift some gears on my own as well..will see next week....

If you were a team driver you would likely get a 10 speed. As solo, odds are you get an auto

She will not have it much longer. I am making a prediction she ends up in a new Cascadia with manual transmission when she goes to become a trainer. You heard it here first:biggrin_25525:

Well, let's hope the Cascadia looks the same as my Century on the inside....at least I've pretty much got everything figured out where to put it....LOL

I am startimg school in two weeks and will be relocating to Missouri after I finish school. I received a Pre-Application package from the recruiter. There is a Student Driver Agreement to Team form which the recruiter failed to talk about. It says that my employment with US Xpress will be contingent on my agreement to work as a team driver for a minimum of six months after upgrading to a first seat driver. Is this typical with US Xpress to be out six months as a team driver before going solo.

    Thanks

It may just be a standard statement.....it used to depend on where you lived.....MO residents are/were allowed to go solo.
