What school is that if you don't mind me asking?
-
The price is ok, however I've seen that price right around 160 hrs so to be more thorough has to better. If the company sends or has on site training, usually you have to commit for a yr or so. Check around on the thread some more and you'll probably get a much better insight on the best way.

Its on southern Blv...here in west palm...Don't remember the name...but will call tomorrow and ask...then post it..

That price is pretty normal, compared to some places I've seen that is low. Accredited course is 180 hrs. You can get it paid for going through a company school, but will have to commit for a set amount of time / miles or end up paying the company their rate.

When you do company training and sign a 1 year contract when does the contract start?
Is it after your school time and time with trainer on the rd or does it start at the time you start training at their school? -
You have to be done training....iceblue Thanks this.

The name is Metropolitan CDL...# is 1 561-753-7667..180 hrs. of training is $3795....Don't know how good of a school it is....

Go to the school and ask for a tour. See how many students per truck, how beat the trucks are, classroom cleanliness, are the instructors out there with the students, don't just fork over your $$$ blindly.
Admin Thanks this. -
a school up here gets $5,500 for 160 hours(4 weeks total time, full 8 hour days), so yeah, it's a good price..
