I was on i-95 the other day headed to North Carolina. I saw atleast a dozen trucks with 48' or smaller trailers with all the vents open and axles all the way back. The trailer didn't have a reefer unit on it. But looked like it was hauling produce back from Florida. any ideas? what produce is in season that can be hauled like this?.. see picture attached
Saw tons of these on i-95, what are the hauling?

hmm the small trailer is the problem--for melons--the bigger the better

Cubans lol! Shame on you for that one!

I saw many trucks with the same size trailer with both front and back vents open, I was just curious, I figured they would want atleast a 53' to cram more in.

# canuck- the truck in the picture in from PA. Watsontown to be exact.

Could it be wood chips???
Wet wood can be very heavy. -
what about tomatoes?-------i have only hauled melons out of florida---but i know the tamoatoes have to be vented as well for off gassing --i think---they wouldnt be as heavy as melons
-
maters would rot to fast......
