Whoa, whoa, whoa now. You need to tell us about the aforementioned companies we've told you about, before we tell you anything else........

Yeah, just messin' with you, however, posting YOUR experiences helps others who may be reading here. You asked about these companies, and I assume you talked with them, so, if you did, what is the outcome ?

I am doing gas now but getting tired of the smell and the aggravation of having cameras in the trucks and avoiding getting run over while unloading. I have done dry bulk in the past.

Diesel Dave because to haul for the big oil companies like Arco(BP) Chevron etc... they require it. And alot of the bigger tanker companies feel it's cheaper to micro-manage drivers and have their insurance companies give them lower insurance rates. That's why it's no fun anymore. I don't feel I need big Daddy watching over my shoulder. That's not why I became a driver. I'm sure you feel the same way. Be safe!

If your working for a major oil company you must be getting HAZARDOUS pay. $$$. Why look for a powder company and make twice LESS ? What give's ?

All the majors are getting rid of their trucks and drivers and outsourcing. So you can work for a penny pinching carrier that will pay you the same as a ltl carrier $19-$20 per hour and lots more bs. There is not such a thing as hazard pay at least that I have never seen. After being in the petroleum business for so many years and exposed to all the cancer causing chemicals in gas I have seen many friends die from cancer and other health problems from being around that crap for so long.
