I admire you for sticking it out. Those drivers who have abandoned ship have made probably made it more difficult for the company to recover. Most drivers will lose at least a week or two pay when they change jobs. I understand that they would be concerned about being paid, but it sounds like they are trying to work out of this situation.

It sure appears like he's running out of $$ fairly quick & he's probably going to close up soon. I can see the writing on the wall. Hopefully I am wrong in this estimate because I don't like seeing anyone have to lose their jobs like this.

Late Thursday we were messaged by qcom that Lewis was trying to get payroll in that evening. Nothing happened Friday but today I got my direct deposit from 2 weeks ago (they paid me $100 to shuttle two trailers from the yard to Publix, can't complain about that).
Still waiting on this past week's payroll.
Running to Spokane and having trouble with their limits on fuel each day - its coming late in the day (they have to wait for the bank to transfer it to Comdata and Comdata to assign Express codes for each $500 payout then they send the code to our truck) and tomorrow I need mine before noon and will then need another in the afternoon to make this delivery on time ($100 going to reefer fuel and $400 trk fuel = 100 gallons, not enough for me to run a 700 mile day much less get from SD over the mountains and to Spokane). -
This ship appears to have sailed..Maybe time to bail..

It sounds to me as though they are trying their best to keep the company afloat. I hope they can turn it around.

I agree, as bad as the situation seems, its nice to see the company doing everything they can to hold on! I would stick it out w/ them if I was there. It shows they want to be sucessfull but have hit some road blocks. You have to respect a company that hangs on as long as possible!!!!
They could have just shut down and left all the equipment/drivers stranded across the country like some others "chose" to do!!!! -
this morning a "personal" qcom message from the owner apologizing for the continuing payroll delays and thanking everyone for their patience and enduring the hardship. Says a lot of it is paperwork requirements by lawyers in properly accounting for funds after they are paid by shipper (and thus after delivery is completed).
That said, today is payroll day so we are 1 week behind on last week's salary.
I did note on the paperwork for this load that the bills of lading now identify us as "Runway Transportation Logistics" and no longer use AAX.
Fuel, repairs, and this morning's lumpers, all being paid as we go via comchek. -
well as a former driver of aax i can say im glad i left.i didnt just work for them for a month or so.we ran team for them for over 5 years.we started with them when it was not even aax yet.once they started with the fuel game and cutting cards off we knew its time to run.tired of hearing every week about changes and growing pains.we just want to do our job as drivers and deliver freight.new rules every week and rules for the new rules.wife and i drive now headache free.the company that we work for allows us to do our job and thats drive.its hard to say but i wish them luck because i think thats the only thing they might be good with is luck....
Lonesome Thanks this. -
