where do you get that they pay "Rand McNally air mile"? the reason I ask is b/c I drive for IRT(local/regional) and for example I've gone from the Winter Haven Yard to Kenly, NC and it the load info says that it's 629 miles loaded and in reality is 633 miles.

btw they are getting trading in the 379s and getting brand new 386s. They get a nice bunch of trucks on a weekly basis. Also ALL the local/regional drivers(like me and tanker yanker) get new Internationals.
@bbird I understand that you will not personalize a company truck but if someelse does live him/her alone and don't critizise, is not like they ask you for money to put chrome/lights in their trucks or b/c they are/were broke b/c they did it. Stop the hate and be proud of your industry.

There is nothing left to be proud of.....

As long as companies like IRT and the rest of the bottom feeders continue to pay drivers nothing, run them into the ground, and treat them like dirt this industry will contiune on its spiral down the toilet..

What about the drivers who will work for low $ , get treated like dirt , all just to drive a PETERMOBILE that also contribute to the downward spiral.

for someone who didnt go to work for indian river because they are a bottom feeder company you seem to not be able to rid yourself of what goes on there? how do you know so much about a place you never worked at? i see a lot of people on here talking crap about a company they have never pulled a load for? why is that?
