air bag on the sleeper started leaking about 2 weeks ago,not bad, air dryer went bad on the way home and egr valve.

none of it showed up in the 2 dot's or the dyno test, just one of those things.

    Just a FYI.

When somebody else pays a ticket for you, if your name appears on said ticket,

be sure to follow up on it.

Not intentionally, but by accident, they don't always get paid.

I learned the hard way, hope nobody else does !!!

I'm scheduled for orientation in Tunnel Hill on 6/15. Is there anything in particular I should be aware of or watching out for (besides the duckwalk, lol)?

Just be thorough on your past employment. They check back a long way and any discrepancies will disqualify you.

That's easy. I've owned a construction company since 2004, and prior to that I was an engineer, with only three employers and that goes back to '93.

I have "Schedule C"s from my tax returns to cover my self employment, and I have plenty of company info for the outfits I worked for when I was an engineer.

    If that's it, I'll be a happy camper.:biggrin_25519:

Well.........we are busy following in the steps of our mentors.....Craig and Anne....LOL......................was told to take our MT to Shippensburg and then come back and get our load......engine light came on, dome lights would not go out, we smelled something burning......ended up being towed in last night around midnight........got sent to Freightliner this morning.........problem with the regen system and the light sensor in the door needs to be fixed.

They had shut the batteries off last night, so after they were turned back on this morning to check things out I logged in, set my hours back, logged out...Sean logged in but we couldn't get her e-logs to work.......so I logged back in and got to drive my truck all of 30 miles......LOL..........Sean said I did very good!!

I'm so glad that you are having such a good time with your Trainer and driving...I can only hope that I'll get an awesome trainer like Anna if I make it through Orientation in August/September. Not sure yet when it will be but I graduate from school on Aug. 24. Maybe I'll wind up with Anna, too. I would love to get to know her and everybody else better. E-mailing my application and forms today....wish me luck!!

How far back do they check? I need to get my resume out so I have that information. It only says past 5 years on the application and I had the same job since 2005. I don't have any problem with them checking back because I have nothing to hide, but just wondering...Also, does anybody know how far they go back on your driving record? Just curious....(nothing to hide there, either).

Sounds like you have all your "ducks in a row" with the background aspect. The two times I went through USX orientation the only other areas that I saw cause problems for folks were high blood pressure and not having a doctor's note for prescription meds. The first day is usually when they do the physical and will check your BP. Try to avoid any coffee or caffeinated beverage that morning. The doctor's note should say something to the effect that any medication being taken will not hinder your driving a commercial motor vehicle.
