Good Texas Trucking Company that hires new drivers

Im working on obtaining my class A CDL and wanted to ask experienced truckers what are some good companies that hire new truckers that are starting their career with no OTR experience preferrably in the Houston, TX area or Texas period.

 

Swift. Okay, let me check into that. I know that there are others. I have a 10 year old Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle felony and I know that alot of companies give you chances if its past 5-7 yrs old, so thats also part of the equation.
Rookie with one 10 yr old foul.

 

Just got off the phone with the recruiter and am positive that I will pass the criminal investigation and am about to submit my app to a SWIFT recruiter, I was wondering if they give you a drug test before they admitt you to the academy to train you to drive trucks..if so then I should wait till I clean out my system first..

 

Settle down dude LoL, I'm quiting for good I dont need it to live or anything. Making money earning a living and enjoying life mean more to me. Im aware of the laws and what Im required to do so all I was asking is when do they give you the drug screen before or after the academy so I know when to submit my app...I have a good idea when I'm clean LoL it'll take me roughly 3 weeks with plenty of water and sweat so it's all good .

 

Im serious or else I wouldn't be planning on living a new and improved life, people change for the better. Its been documented time and time again throughout history.
