I would like to be able to golf once in a while during 34 resets. Are golf clubs allowed in company trucks? I am a student now and was just curious. I have not yet been hired on with a company.
Thanks for the helpful input in advance.

Golf clubs, yes, as long as the golf balls are secured and locked at least 10 feet from the clubs.

I don't care who you are...that's funny.as hell.
Yes they are, you only have to watch alcohol, not legal at all,Rx must be in original bottle and firearms are subject to state laws...I've also heard 3rd hand stories that fireworks can get you in trouble.
Other than that pretty much if you can legally own it you can have it in a truck. -
After you get you own truck, yes. If you take them with you on the "trainers" truck he will stick them somewhere that you may not enjoy.

Ten feet huh? Haven't even been in a rig yet and I get that joke.
Alcohol won't be an issue. I barely drink at all, maybe a couple times a year. I do like an eggnog when it's the season for it. I had been wondering about firearms, so thanks for that info.
I would never have them on a training truck. I don't even want to be on a training truck for all that time. Too tight for two strangers. Just curious for when I do get my own truck.
Thanks for all the help and my first rookie joke.

Just keep in mind, everything you have in the truck will have to be moved out of the truck at some point, such as quitting the company, getting assigned another truck, etc. And golf clubs won't fit into the overhead bin on the bus.

You are only allowed to carry golf clubs if your handicap is 10 or less. Make sure you have your USGA card with you as they'll be asking for it at the scales.

Once you get your own truck, I wouldn't carry more than a 7-iron, pw, and putter. 34 hour resets aren't as common as you may think. And alot of places you'd like to go will Not have an area for you to park your 72' long rig.

I see cab rides in my future to get to a course here and there. Great idea about carrying just a few clubs, thanks.

Hello Justin and welcome both to the forum, and to trucking in general! I think your question has been answered here. Now I have a question for you. . .
Did you retire and decide to start driving, or did you just get too old to keep doing what you had been doing?
