That's funny right there - not like I can't defend myself, so I'm not worried about someone stalking me and wanting to beat me up for a post... by WHY ON EARTH do people with felonies think they'll be trusted with $150k worth of truck and trailer and who-knows-how-much cargo?
Or the guy who had a DUI last year thinks he can drive a truck... although truck driving leaves you alone, using your own judgement and self-control, and you have access to alcohol?
How to re-obtain a CDL with a current felony

I do know good people with a felony in this industry but there 10 years old. It's hard to get a good job and some just are not attainable with a recent charge. That's how it is. Like was said your trusted with equipment and cargo that ain't cheap. Just gotta man up and do what you gotta do till you can do what you wanna do.
Mrfasttrack Thanks this. -
Now that's funny

as long as the chains are shiny....and the shackles are diamond encrusted..
and hey, a chainsaw ain't the worst thing you could have used...a little messy, perhaps...but not the worst...lilillill Thanks this. -
Excuse me people, if you truely understood the circumstances surrounding my case, you'd get a kick out of it. Seriously, i want to get off my arse, get a "real" job and make some serious money. Instead, i may have to take a minimum wage job just to make ends meet. This is real serious!!

I forgot to mention, i do have a work history BEFORE i got this felony, also, i do have 4 years of experience while driving a OTR. I have also checked into this that some companies want a felony to be at least 5 years old, not 7 or 10 years. What makes this even more dificult is that i cannot even get a warehouse job away from the general public.

If he used the chainsaw he might have a better chance. -
I hear the Mexican Cartels are always looking for coyotes or drug runners, and their applications don't ask pesky ?'s. Good $ but more risky than even ice road truckers. Seriously you may get hired by one of those temp agencies, you could probably get hired out as a delivery driver helper for a distributer, then if they like you ,you could get hired directly by the distribution company.
