There's ONE company that I know about..........in the Barnett Shale area.
That's kinda large though.....20 something North Texas counties......bigger
than some States for sure......but.........
It's In Chico, Tx. I don't even know their name for sure.......Enterprise I think.
I passed their yard yesterday afternoon on the way to a well.

All the patch work is out west of Big Springs/Sweetwater
Largest Boom in this Nations history is in full swing
Midland/Odessa for north and west Texas
San Antonio/Pleasanton for everything south and back west -
Largest Boom in nations history is in ND last I checked... -
6 Company's doing 1000 wells "EACH"this fiscal year in Texas alone

One State will in no way compete with TX,NM,OK,AR
Hands are coming down from Alberta Ca to work the boom in NM and Tx
It is really nice to see the derricks on the horizon running I10 and I20 for miles.
The west side of ND is rockin no doubt! and folks are going to be living
better in no time.Whats cranking in the "oil fields" of history are waking up to new levels far surpassing anything in history.

Yes sir, I heard 80% of the wells being drilled a month are over in Martin County (TX). There is just about 2-3 rigs drilling near every Frac job I've been on in the last 4 months.

This is my first post. I hope to take advantage of this growing opportunity. I have a CDL w/ HazMat, Tanker, Double, Triple. Over the last 10 years I used to drive for Coca Cola (side bay), Pepsi (bulk), and recently Frito Lay. My job now doesn't involve any driving, but they require that someone (me) have the ability to drive a fuel tanker to this location south of Houston in case a hurricane hits. I have spent hours and hours reading these posts and it is very helpful. As I am not driving daily, I do have an advantage of researching the companies being mentioned here. I now have an updated resume and am ready to apply for a driver position in the frac oil business here in Texas. I'm already in Texas and I know that it's not the same as OTR. It will be alot of hard work, in bad conditions, but we need the money. Can anyone predict when the driver demand will catch up and the hours/pay to start dropping? Also I understand it's best to go down and talk to someone face to face. But where? I have only found a handful of address' online. I don't want to just drive up on a well site. Believe it or not, but this site offers alot of insight into the increasing complex career of truck driving. I want to thank all of you for taking time to inform and advise us.

You spend a bit of time there getting yer rocks...........
You go other places to get em off.
Simple work for simple minded truckers.

I hear that they have A LOT of oil sitting in frac tanks that needs to be moved. -
What do you want to haul? Where do you want to work out of? Not thinking that any of it is happening in what was once Galvaston.
Hauling crude in Texas is not hard work... to me it isn't anyway. ND, that is a different world.
Let us know what and where, I am sure that we can come up with places for you to apply.
Absent that info, go to any place that trucks can fuel, look for the tankers that have placards 1267; water tankers look like crap, are usually painted and have no placards. Sand is in the big silver hoppers. Write down company names, most usually have phone numbers, all will have city and state of origin. Talk to the driver if they are around. I know all the drivers in my company are willing to recruit a new driver, nice bonus comes with it.
DO NOT show up at a well.thumbsout Thanks this.
