Good luck with that. Section 390.3(d) of the FMCSR allow carriers to set more stringent requirements for their drivers than what is required to get a medical card.

I've seen other disposable sleep apnea home testing kits for $150. I was actually researching them a few weeks ago in case the doc "decided my neck was too big". -
This is not from sleep apnea it from all the smoke in his cab he could not see out the window. -
Good luck with that, because you won't be using one of them either.

Im going to be going to Prime and driving with my husband.... The BMI is very concerning to me also...I am no small chick.. im 5'10 and im 225lbs... my BMI is 32.2.. So because of this im doing the "diet thing" LOL I dont think Prime is too harsh on this.. Im sorry... Its your life and your body... take control over it..

The percentage is 39% at Prime. But they are strict on it. I got 39.5% and they're making me do it.
But he told me he'd probably make me do it anyway because I am prone to morning headaches.
Prime charges $130 for the sleep test and then it's $2000 for the machine. They take it back by taking $50 out of your paycheck every week. 3 weeks for the test, 36 for the machine.
If you can have health insurance though, check with your provider cause some will help pay for it.
I've had headaches and migraines my entire life, if this fixes that problem I'll gladly spend that 2k. -
I use a cpap. Been using one for about 5 years. No big deal. My wife and oldest daughter call me "coma boy". My youngest freaks out when she sees me wear it so I wait until she's crashed before I put it on.
Compared to when I first drove 11 years ago, its like night and day! No wonder I felt tired all the time back then.
But $2k for one? Mine tops was maybe $600. Does Prime have a specialized model?
